There are four Cloud Applications categories:

New – New applications are yet to be classified by an administrator.
Sanctioned – Sanctioned applications are accepted as legitimate applications by the administrator.
Unsanctioned – Unsanctioned applications are deemed not suitable for the organisation[/b] by the administrator.
Tolerated – Tolerated applications are usually allowed applications, but not considered critical applications to the organisation and therefore may need to have Quality of Service controls in place.
