The STAS service account should be added to the Backup Operators and Event Log Readers Groups in AD, and the local Administrators groups on endpoints (this can be done via a group policy and is required for WMI logoff detection to work). The account should also be granted ‘Logon as a service’ permission on the domain controller, and full NTFS permission on the STAS folder.
